Week 2 College Football (Super Saturday)

This week is going to look huge when we get to November and begin talking about the Playoff. First, lets recap what happened last weekend. Auburn pulled out a win in Arlington nearly at the last second. Clemson rolled over the Yellow Jackets with a 30+ point win. North Carolina and Mack Brown had an upset win over South Carolina in Charlotte. Stanford withstood a test from Northwestern with a ten point win. LSU rolled over Georgia Southern. Jalen Hurts balled out in his Oklahoma debut. The most surprising result was Tennessee dropping a home game to Georgia State. After all of last weeks action lets look at my new top six for the playoff.

4 Ohio State vs 1 Clemson

3 Oklahoma vs 2 Alabama

First two out: 5 Georgia and 6 Michigan

Now, onto this weeks picks for the biggest games of this week.

All times are central time zone (USA)

Cincinnati vs Ohio State 11:00am ABC (Pick: Ohio State)

Army vs Michigan 11:00am FOX (Pick: Michigan)

Nebraska vs Colorado 2:30 FOX (Pick: Nebraska)

BYU vs Tennessee 6:00 ESPN (Pick: BYU)

Stanford vs USC 9:30 ESPN (Pick: Stanford)

There are not a lot of big time games this week, these may be the best five without the other two I have not mentioned yet. Ohio State and Michigan are on upset alert for at least three quarters. I do see both of them pulling away eventually. Michigan could come out of this week with a list of injuries, after playing a physical Army team.

Games of the week

Texas A&M vs Clemson 2:30 ABC

LSU vs Texas 6:30 ABC

These two games look like a playoff round and it is only week two. College Gameday is going to be at LSU vs Texas in Austin. Each game has huge implications concerning the playoff. The loser of LSU-Texas is eliminated from the playoff race basically. Texas A&M loses to Clemson they are done for the playoff. If Texas A&M pulls the huge upset then they will be in the top five contenders for the playoff. That is the basics for this week in college football. Have a magical day and we will SEE YA! real soon.
