The last couple weeks of the college football season have two distinct names especially in the SEC. Last week is known as cupcake week and then this week is known as rivalry week. Alabama rolled last week in 60+ point victory. Oregon dropped a heartbreaker in the desert against Arizona State which may be the dagger for the PAC-12 playoff hopes. Oklahoma escaped with a win over TCU. Ohio State prevailed over Penn State. Georgia won an ugly game with Texas A&M. The committee had some shifts at the top lets look into the shift. Note: The committee rankings and our rankings are different this week, but not by much. We will note the difference.

What to Watch For/Upset Watch
This is rivalry week and there are some games with teams we never pick on this list, but the rivalry is why we are picking it. Mississippi State and Nebraska are playing for the 6th win which will make each bowl eligible. Friday is a big day for the Virginia schools and Cincinnati and Memphis. In Charlottesville the ACC Coastal will be decided and the winner gets to play Clemson next week in the ACC Championship game. In Memphis, this could be part one of two between these two. Memphis wins this game and they will play Cincinnati again next week for the AAC Championship and possible New Years Six bowl. Oregon State is playing for their first bowl appearance since 2013. The bigger games are in Tuscaloosa, Ann Arbor, Stillwater, and Baton Rouge. The chaos should stay in tact, but with rivalry week you never know what can happen.
Game of the Week
Wisconsin vs Minnesota 2:30 ABC (Paul Bunyan's Axe) The Big Ten West Championship game. The winner will get a shot at Ohio State next week in Indianapolis in the conference championship game. Minnesota may not be out of the playoff race just yet. A win here would be huge for them, but this is also a rivalry game with stakes raised. I expect a close game and nasty running the football game. Its going to be cold and sloppy. (Pick: Minnesota)
