NFL Week 8 (Super Bowl I Rematch)

We are now at the halfway part of the NFL season when considering games for each team. There are still 9 more weeks left in the regular season. We are seeing pretenders separate themselves from the contenders. The separation from the top to the bottom of the league this season is astronomical. The teams at the bottom are not just bad, but they are really bad and the records show it. Last week, we saw Aaron Rodgers go off for a perfect passer rating and 6 touchdowns en route to a 42-24 win over the Raiders. The Cardinals have won three straight after starting 0-3-1. The Dolphins (0-7) had their first lead of the entire season, but still lost. The biggest surprises from week 7 were two QBs went down with injuries. Matt Ryan (2016 MVP) went down in the 4th quarter and may not play this week. Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs) went down on Thursday night with a knee injury. Now, that we are halfway through the season, we are going to break out a new feature we call playoff outlook.

What to Watch For

Thursday night is a revenge game for Kirk Cousins as he leads the Vikings against his former team. The Eagles have a must win game against the Bills, if they want to stay in the competitive NFC playoff picture. Can the Bengals get a win across the pond or will Sean McCoy beat his former assistant in Zac Taylor. Will Drew Brees return against Kyler Murray and the red hot Cardinals who ride a 3 game win streak into the Big Easy. Can the 49ers keep rolling against a very good Panthers defense. What will Freddie Kitchens be able to do with Baker Mayfield against the Patriots vaunted defense. In a game that has playoff tiebreaker written all over it, what happens in Houston. In the NFL's 100th season we get a rematch of the first Super Bowl between Green Bay and Kansas City. Does Mahomes return against the Packers? Can the Chiefs stay in the home field advantage race with the Patriots? Will the Dolphins show up on Monday and get their first win of the season?

Have a magical day and we will SEE YA! real soon.
